Day 2: Seward (Kenai Peninsula)

We made a boattrip in Sewardseward01, to be more specific: the Resurrection Bay of the Kenai Fjords National Park. This trip takes about 3 hours and costs about $49, lunch included. If you are lucky -as we were- there is almost no wind (although we had to pay an extra $5 for this option), but wear a good wind-proof jacket.

You can see a lot of puffins, seelions, white sheep, bald eagles, the spectacular Bear Glacier which is 3 km. wide etc. The only thing we did not see was a whale…

After the tour we all went to the B-52 bar. When he finished his first pint, Thomas asked himself if the piano would still be working. When we were discussing about the piano (“C’mon, go for it, please, please!”), he shoke his butt once, stood up, walked around, faked a side-step at the men’s room, dribbled to the left and and went for the piano. We all were flabbergastered when he actually started to play and sing some Beatles songs and other pop-music hits of the past 30 years. Great! Everybody in the bar liked it and he received a lot of beer. P.S.: At this moment he is doing a world-tour around Frankfurt, Germany with his band “Soul Express”.
